Who Is The Glassblowing Lumberjack?

Well… I am. The mythical Glassblowing Lumberjack is none

other than the Northern Ohio native Donald Kocian, me. I

learned my trades at Hocking College in Southern Ohio,

where the forests grow tall and the hills are steep. My love for

making things was awakened by glassblowing and now I

cannot imagine life without it. Creating beautiful things brings

me such joy. But what is life without a little spice? Tree

climbing and logging also keeps me on my toes. It provides a

breakup in the monotony of life and forces me to live solely

in the moment.
